Input rules: plain characters 0-9 * # A B C D are DTMF. Use bracketed tokens for non-DTMF: [KP], [ST], [2600], [N] or [NICKEL], [DI] or [DIME], [Q] or [QUARTER]. Tokens can be mixed, eg: 1800[KP]5551212[ST][Q].

Inputs (IEEE 1584-2002 style)
Quick NFPA 70E helper using legacy IEEE 1584-2002 equations (enclosed vs open air). For study-grade numbers run a formal arc-flash study.

PPE Hint--
Boundary uses the target incident energy (default 1.2 cal/cm²). Calculations assume 208 V–15 kV, gaps 3–152 mm, clearing times 0.01–2 s, and are informational only. NOT TO BE USED FOR SAFETY OR PPE PLANNING. FOR FUN ONLY.
fault.exe
Source Inputs
Calculates available symmetrical fault current at the transformer secondary. Motor factor adds % of transformer contribution to mimic motor backfeed. Utility MVA adds upstream source stiffness in parallel. Override kA bypasses transformer math.
Downstream Run (to load panel)
Uses positive-sequence conductor impedance scaled by one-way length. Add length for feeders from source to panel; ground path not modeled separately. Override R/X if you have exact data.
